The Blends We Can Actually Get in Northern Tasmania
Supply matters. There is no point showing you a stone we would then have to tell you is unavailable or freighted from the mainland.

Aggregate is chosen in Launceston by looking at stone, not at a website. We are photographing the blends we actually pour here, washed back on real slabs, rather than publishing a supplier's catalogue of stone we may not be able to get.
We would rather publish this properly than fill it with a supplier's catalogue that does not match what we can actually pour here.

Loose stone and stone set in a slab look completely different. Only one of those is what ends up on your driveway.
How far the surface is washed back changes how much stone you see. The same blend can read three different ways.
Ring us and we will bring sample boards to the free measure, and show you finished work nearby where we can. Stone is worth seeing in daylight.
(03) 6724 3698You can narrow it down, but the stone is the whole point of the finish and photographs flatten it. We bring washed samples to the free measure so you can see the size, the colour spread and how much of it shows once the surface is washed back.
Not usually. Exposed aggregate runs $100 to $180 per square metre whichever stone you pick. What moves the price is the area, the access and what has to come out first, not the stone in the mix.
We are photographing the range on real slabs rather than reproducing a supplier's catalogue, so it takes as long as the pours take. Ring us in the meantime and we will bring the samples to you, which is better than any photograph.

How the finish is made, and why it grips when it is wet.

The same stone ground flush instead of washed proud.

The hub for all seven finishes, if you are still deciding.
One call and we come out, measure the real thing and put a price in writing. It costs nothing and there is no salesman in it.
